May GO BLUE Students of the month announced
June 3, 2019
Congratulations to the GO BLUE students of May! This month, eight students were selected by their teachers as GO BLUE students. Nominated students were recognized for the exceptional examples they provide as model students. Below are what they believe are the reasons they were chosen for.
Freshman:
Kian Hudiburg: “Because I do what I’m supposed to do.”
Garrett Muirhead: “I’m very nice and I do my best to help.”
Sophomore:
Sofia Arias: “I get along well with people, I just like being around people and meeting new people.”
Jordyn Helm: “I’m inclusive and very positive.”
Junior:
Savannah Hayes; “ I am willing to try new things.”
Valeria Melgoza; “Mrs. Tucker is always playing 80s bops when I walk in, so it makes me dance and puts me in a good mood.”
Senior:
Ellie Calvert – “Well, I swept a lot of floors. I felt like the mama bear. When someone was hurt, needed a bandaid, or needed food or water, I’d always get them it. There was a lot of blood sweat and tears.”
Raden Hubbard, senior, was also recognized this month. Staff members who were recognized were Carrie Lujan and Curtis Schafer.
Great job Blue Devils!
