- What are your main goals for the team this season?
“My goals are for the entire basketball program to get better each day. Our program as a whole can do great things this year, but we have to understand the importance of each day. Our varsity team must relish the opportunity to set the standard for the rest of the program.” Coach Berg said
- What kind of team culture do you want to establish this season?
“We try to build a “Brotherhood” for our program where each player in the program feels a connection to one another whether they are on the same team or not. Through that support, we push ourselves to be better each day. We know that as a team we will go much further together than separate.” Coach Berg said.
- How would you describe the team culture you are trying to create?
“Our team culture should be one where we are doing the right thing at the right time, every time. That mindset and culture can be used in any situation and environment, so it will help us on and off the court.” Coach Berg said.
- What kind of atmosphere are you aiming for both on and off the court?
“The atmosphere we look to have is one where we are all working to achieve a team goal by helping each other get better while also improving as individuals. To do that we need to have a competitive spirit in everything we do.” Coach Berg said.
- What are you most excited about for the upcoming season?
“We have a great group of kids that are all playing in a new role this year. Even our returners will have new/bigger roles. After a pretty good summer season, I am excited to see how all of our guys fill or expand on their roles and to see how good of a team we can be.” Coach Berg said.
